He has helped change a whole neighbourhood in Yonkers (New York). The film shows how one can live a life that matters.
Roshi Bernie Glassman leads a group of Zen students thru the temples, monasteries and tradition associated with his lineage and the development of Buddhism in Japan. During the bus ride, he narrates his understanding relating to the places and people the group visits.
