Sunday afternoon, June 20, will see a program sponsored by the Washington Buddhist Peace Fellowship. It will start with a screening of “Peace is Every Step,” a portrait of Thich Nhat Hanh, who was nominated for the nobel Peace Prize by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., for his efforts to end the war in Vietnam peacefully. Following the film, Peace Fellowship founder Hugh Byrne will lead a meditation and a discussion on engaged Buddhism with peace activitst Colman McCarthy.
