MONTAGUE CENTER – Most people probably know Jeff Bridges for his roles in Hollywood films, like his recent Oscar-winning role as troubled country singer Bad Blake in “Crazy Heart” or his role as The Dude, a slacker bowler in the Cohen Brothers 1998 film “The Big Lebowski.”
But, most people probably don’t know about Bridges work to end world hunger.
On Aug. 13, at 3:15 p.m., he will be giving a talk at Zen Peacemakers Ripley Road Farm about his No Child Hungry in 2015, a group with which first lady Michelle Obama is also working.
