Introducing Cluster Meetings

Introducing Cluster Meetings

The painting above, created by German artist and ZPI member Georgia Von Schlieffen, represents the spirit of our membership: colorful, dynamic and creative.

It’s ZPI’s ongoing goal to engage this colorful membership, you,¬†from anywhere around the globe – to reveal this interwoven tapestry, often referred to as¬†Indra’s Net –¬†and to make it felt and lively, just like Georgia’s painting.¬† When you first sign up as a member, you indicate the kind of people you were interested in meeting:¬†activists,¬†artists,¬†peacebuilders,¬†entrepreneurs,¬†yogi/nis¬†etc.¬† We call these¬†clusters.

All clusters are freely open to all our members, and you can make changes to which cluster or clusters you belong any time by going to your profile on the membership platform.

Over the next few months we will hold online meetings to initiate conversations among the members of the clusters. We will refer to¬†the¬†Three Tenets – Not Knowing, Bearing Witness and Taking Action –¬†as the starting point for the conversation relating to each subject.

Here are the upcoming meetings for the largest clusters in our membership. More meetings for the rest of the clusters will be announced soon. Later meetings will have different times and weekdays to accommodate different timezones and weekday availability.

Peacebuilders Cluster meeting,Thursday, September 27, 1:00pm EST

Humanitarians Cluster meeting, Thursday, October 11, 1:00pm EST

Community Activists Cluster meeting, Thursday, November 20, 1:00pm EST

The meetings will take place in English using the Zoom app.  Registration is free and space is limited to 20 participants. Remember that these meetings, future meetings and other ZPI and affiliates events are available on the membership platform event page.

We’ve opened a¬†Members Open¬†Room¬†so everyone will have a place to share, connect, and continue the conversations from these meetings or initiate new ones. We will open rooms dedicated to each cluster as the need arises.

With any questions, please feel free to write to¬†[email protected].

So please join us as we give life to our network by offering your colors, creativity, heart and service.

Sincerely,

Rami Efal
Executive Director Zen Peacemakers International
