Around the globe, the impacts of climate change are hitting harder. Fires, severe storms, droughts, and floods are displacing millions of people. These impacts break our hearts. They do grave harm to the planet and the human family. They call us to bear witness from a place of stillness and determination, compassion and justice.
Since the mid-1990s, GreenFaith has been engaging on climate change with diverse religious and spiritual communities, first in the US and now globally. Rev. Fletcher Harper, GreenFaith’s Executive Director, will describe the evolution of GreenFaith’s work into its present form as a worldwide, grassroots, activist community for climate justice. He will share what GreenFaith is doing and why, underscoring the importance of more religious and spiritual people becoming involved.
