Books Behind Bars tries to help people in prisons or other locked institutions by donating books on meditation and Buddhist philosophy. Because we know how difficult it can be to maintain a practice without a community or a teacher, we want to remedy that as best we can in the tough place people in prisons or other institutions find themselves in.
