A small and dedicated group of men imprisoned at Sing Sing Correctional Facility meet weekly to practice Zen. Since 2004, volunteers from the Village Zendo have traveled to Sing Sing to sit with the men and offer dharma talks and teacher interviews. A half-dozen men have received jukai and dharma names since the program began.
